Description
This felting needle is composed of needle handle with bend, waist needle (some are not), needle-point leaf, and needle point. Among this, needle-point leaf is the working segments of this nonwoven needle, and is the main section of felting needle. The needle is a kind of textile accessories. It is mainly used in the textile and nonwoven fabric, needle-punched non-woven fabrics, acupuncture insoles, warmth insoles, thermal regeneration acupuncture cotton, tree-planting bag, nonwoven fabric, garment accessories, etc.
Features
Needle blade shape, barb shape, barb spacing and needle length are the main areas of a felting needle that can be specified.
1.Blade Shape
The star blade shape provides for best tensile properties of all other blade shapes and designs. The star blade is more efficient than a triangular bladed needle.
2.Barb Shape
It should be of rounded barb style.
3.Needle Length
This will vary from mill to mill depending on the equipment in use. Compared to 3.5 inches felting needles, again 3 inches nonwoven needles are best suited and result in less needle breakage.
4.Barb Spacing
Most geotextile fabrics fall into the 3-5 oz/yd2 range. Also, most geotextile lines will incorporate looms that needle from top and bottom. If it in this case, close barb spacing is recommended.

- Needle Board
1.The needle board is applied to press velvet and pile fabrics. And it stops flattening or imprinting of pile while pressing. 2.The rubber base of the needle plate is heat-resistant. 3.The needle board can prevent a seam ridge from appearing on the face or right side of pile fabrics when pressed.
- Copper Sleeve
1.The copper bush belongs to structural materials. Lubrication performance, wear resistance and corrosion resistant performance is good, and it is suitable for bimetal casting materials. 2.The surface pressure of Copper Sleeve is high, and equipped with lateral pressure bearing, the copper bush can be made cooling pipe of cold rolling mill. Its impact resistance load can up to 50 Mpa.
